Summer is almost here

 

Only one week left of school before the kids are out for the summer! The rain has FINALLY gone away here in California (I know, strange huh).  We can now enjoy the late evening sun gathering leaves and berries with our bare feet.

I just made a crochet kerchief using the tutorial over at Aesthetic Nest.  She also has another version that I plan to try out for myself.  It's funny, I was just thinking about finding a pattern for this exact thing for our camping trip planned for this summer!

It was so easy to make, taking less than an hour.  I used a Bernat baby yarn in soft red to keep it light so little Miss E will wear it even when it's hot.   I just love how it turned out!
